I'm In!
At the beginning of 2016 I was on a mission to live life purposefully. I read somewhere that, "You find your purpose in life by being of service to others." I read and understood it but had no idea what kind of service to get into. I went on living life; reading, studying, and finding my way. One day I had lunch at the 101 Cafe in Hollywood with a few friends. My friend Jasmynne-Shaye mentioned that she was wanting to feed the homeless. I thought it sounded great. I was happy for her and although I felt a slight tug on my heart, I said nothing.
Throughout the week (literally everyday) that "tug" got stronger. I texted Jaz and said, "I'm in." I suppose a part of me wanted to be sure because it's a big commitment. Well, this big commitment has changed my life in so many ways and has been one of the best decisions that I've ever made.
